Foss Dyke Band finished yet another brilliant contesting year by gaining 3rd place at the LBBA (Leicestershire Brass Band Association) 'Open' Brass Band Contest. Held annually at the Loughborough Endowed Schools in Loughborough, it was the band's last contest in the current contesting calendar. The band chose to play "Trittico" by James Curnow and gained 3rd place from a healthy competition of 9 bands.
The band will now look forward to a few Christmas concerts before having a break to recharge the batteries ready for 2019! For more information about the band's Christmas concerts, check out the concerts page of the website.
